What does Elalgo Account Guardian do?

ElAlgo Account Guardian is a MetaTrader account-protection and risk-management tool designed to give traders a structured view of risk across Daily, Weekly, and Monthly periods. Instead of focusing on individual trade entries, Account Guardian works at the account level. Its dashboard brings together Balance, Equity, Floating P/L, Drawdown, overall protection status, period-specific Risk Used, remaining risk, configured limits, reference values, reset times, and lock status in one interface. Each Daily, Weekly, and Monthly period has its own settings, allowing the trader to create different protection rules for different time horizons. This makes it possible to separate short-term daily discipline from broader weekly and monthly account limits. For risk control, Account Guardian provides four configurable reference modes. Start Balance uses the balance recorded for the beginning of the active protection period as the reference. Max Balance uses the highest tracked balance reference for the period. Max Equity uses the highest tracked equity reference for the period. Fixed Money allows the trader to define the risk limit directly as a monetary amount instead of a percentage-based reference. The dashboard displays Risk Used as the amount currently consumed relative to the configured risk limit. It also shows the corresponding percentage and the amount of risk remaining before the configured limit is reached. In percentage-based modes, the active balance or equity reference is displayed directly on the dashboard, while Fixed Money mode displays the configured monetary limit. Account Guardian also includes separate Reward controls. Reward monitoring can be enabled independently and configured using either Start Balance or Fixed Money mode, giving traders an additional framework for managing account-level performance objectives. For both Risk and Reward conditions, the settings interface provides configurable response actions including alerts, pending-order deletion, position closing, account locking, and MT5 terminal closing. Traders can select the actions that match their own protection policy instead of relying on a single fixed response. The interface continuously communicates account condition through clear visual states including Safe, Caution, Near Limit, Limit Reached, and Locked. Progress indicators make it easier to understand how much of a configured limit has already been used without relying only on raw account numbers. Every protection period also displays its next reset time. When a period enters a locked state, the dashboard shows that state together with the corresponding reset time, helping the trader understand when that protection period becomes available again. The settings for each period are managed independently and are committed through the Save control. Protected settings require an active ElAlgo license before they can be saved, with the licensing interface displayed when protected functionality is not available. With separate time periods, multiple risk-reference modes, configurable protection responses, and a consolidated account dashboard, ElAlgo Account Guardian is built for traders who want more structure around account-level risk. It does not decide when to buy or sell and it does not promise trading performance. Its purpose is to help the trader define boundaries, monitor them clearly, and maintain a more disciplined risk-management process.
